AI can generate scripts, select audiences, summarize conversations, and automate follow-up. Each capability can improve efficiency, but it can also make a flawed decision repeat at scale.
Organizations should document where AI influences outreach, what data it uses, who approves its output, and how a consumer can reach a human. Tests should cover factual accuracy, prohibited claims, consent boundaries, opt-out handling, and changes introduced by model or prompt updates.
Preserve accountability
An audit trail should connect the model-assisted decision to the campaign, caller ID, message, and responsible team. Vendors should disclose material dependencies and support investigation when output causes harm.
AI does not eliminate the need for caller identity, consent, suppression, or reputation controls. It increases the importance of making those controls observable before the organization expands volume.
